Adieu Paris

I'll be on the plane back to Dublin in about an hour.

I've been to Paris twice now. The first time I came with a carry on and half a week's worth of clothes. This time I came with a full set of clothes, accessories and more. I'm now certain that my travel style veers to the lighter side. I really don't need much when I travel and from now on will keep things simple. It certainly will make things easier getting to and from airports.

I struggled a bit this morning and a woman helped me carry my large bag down 2 flights of stairs and another gentleman offered to do the same. My conclusion is that the French people are awesome. I've seen nothing but warm, friendly faces no matter where I went - be it the woman at the pharmacie where I bought some band aids and cold medicine, the Boulanger who gently corrected my pronunciation of the chocopistache I bought yesterday or all of the lovely people I've encountered in the subway either providing direction or helping me with my bags. Is it a wonder that I love this city? It has so I much to offer and that includes it's people.

Jusqu'à la prochaine paris de temps!
Until next time Paris.

J'adore!
